Upside Down

Another illustration for , this time for Chapter 5.

And yes, I realize that Paul (The guy with the tentacles coming out of his back) is upside down. I did that on purpose. Why? Because at this point, his life is literally turned upside down. He doesn't know whether to trust Lysanna or Maya and he's got a parasite in his body that could potentially kill him, and now Maya's hacking at him with a knife that'll either free him from this monster of kill him off for good. Poor, poor Paul. . .

This just took FOREVER. I decided to ditch the line art and just paint over the sketch layer for this, and it actually looks better. As for the blood. . . I put enough that probably wouldn't call for a Mature tag (I hope. . .). And again, the upside down thing was on purpose.
